Michael Abraham
Michael was raised in Bel Air, Maryland. His father introduced him to the game of
golf at age eleven. After achieving success in junior and high school golf
tournaments he began to see a future in the game. Michael decided to pursue a
career in the game at Coastal Carolina University in the fall of 2004.
Although he was unable to walk on to the highly regarded golf team at Coastal
(a team consisting of Dustin Johnson and Zack Byrd at the time) he did excel
through the Professional Golf Management program at CCU. Michael achieved
PGA membership in September 2008 while becoming a Certified member in Retail
and Instruction in 2009. Michael continued his education at Coastal obtaining
his Master’s degree in Business Administration in 2009. In January 2008 Michael
joined the staff at The Members Club and in February 2010 was named Head Golf
Professional at Pine Lakes Country Club. One of Michael’s finest golfing memories
was at TPC Sawgrass while on a summer internship. Michael stepped up to the famed
17th hole at The Stadium Course and got a hole in one!
